With reference to my Letter of the 6th of April last, I am directed by The Earl of Aberdeen to transmit to you, for the information of Lord Stanley, Copies of two Despatches from Sir Henry Pottinger, and an Extract of a memorandum by the Chinese High Commissioner Keying, respecting the question of jurisdiction over Chinese at Hongkong.
Sir Henry Pottinger states that he has transmitted direct to the Colonial Office, Copy of his despatch No.90, referred to in his Despatch No. 92.
